The Butlers Block combines the quality and durability of a commercial butcher block with the charm and style of a fine furniture piece. Available in 11 unique base finish colors to complement your existing decor, the Butler's Block also includes two bronze towel hooks and a slatted maple shelf for storage. Built to last for generations, the Butler's Block makes the perfect addition to the gourmet kitchen.

The Butlers Block features a 5" thick Northern Hard Rock Maple butcher block with end-grain construction. The end-grain work surface is easy on knives; during cutting or chopping, the end grain wood fibers absorb the impact of the blade, which keeps knives sharper longer. The malleable and forgiving end grain surface is resistant to nicks and gouges, which prevents bacteria from entering the wood, keeps the board looking new longer and increases its longevity. The surface of the Butlers Block features a Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax that penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in. This finish can be maintained with John Boos Mystery Oil or Boos Board Cream.

Boos' sawdust is also recycled as livestock bedding for their local agricultural needs.
