The Classic Country Kitchen Island Work Table brings the warmth of the country into your kitchen. It features a hard rock maple top over a rustic base that elicits nostalgia for simpler, less-refined times. The 1.75 inch thick hard rock maple top features edge grain construction coated with the standard Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax. The Boos block cream penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in, and allows your board to be used as a cutting surface. The base and legs are available in many beautiful finishes, allowing the user to match the Classic Country Work Table to his or her unique decor. Optional items - such as locking caster wheels, slatted lower shelves, a utensil drawer, and wicker baskets increase storage and display options for the active yet style-minded chef. The Classic Country Kitchen Island Work Table is pictured above with an optional shelf, three wicker baskets, and a utensil drawer added; please use the drop down menus above to add accessories to your table. At 35" high, the Classic Country Work Table is the ideal height for food preparation tasks.

Several additions to your table are also available. You can choose from slatted lower shelves, a 15-inch utensil drawer, locking caster wheels, and up to three wicker baskets. To order more than one wicker basket, simply adjust the quantity in your shopping cart at checkout.

Boos' sawdust is also recycled as livestock bedding for their local agricultural needs.

When caster wheels or shelves are added to an order at the time of purchase the legs are pre-drilled and cut in production to accept them. You will not be able to easily obtain or add caster wheels or shelves to your table separately at a later date, so if you think you will want either of these items with your table, please use the drop down menu above to include them with your order. This table does not come with shelves or baskets. The dimensions of this item allow for 1/8" tolerance. The finished product color may vary slightly from the colors shown above.
