The Flip and Fold Kitchen Island adds work and storage space when you need it and tucks conveniently out of the way when you don't. A patented precision-hinge folding mechanism lets you open and close this mobile kitchen island in seconds. When open, this folding kitchen island adds eight square feet of work surface. When closed, it takes up a slim five inches of space and easily tucks away beside the refrigerator, behind the door, or in the closet.

The Flip and Fold Kitchen Island is made with a sturdy stainless steel frame, brass and steel hinges, and three-inch locking casters that allow you to easily move this kitchen island where you need it and then lock it securely in place. The ample work surface is a wood laminated hollow top with solid wood trim; the shelf is made of solid basswood - a hardwood that comes from rubber trees. The finished wood surface of this folding kitchen island cleans easily with mild soap and water, but cutting directly on the kitchen island can mar the surface of the wood. We recommend using a cutting board or butcher block atop this kitchen island.
