The French Country Work Center is a sturdy and solidly built mobile kitchen cart with a hefty 2.5" thick butcher block top with a hand-rubbed finish. Built to last a lifetime, the workcenter is constructed of solid fine domestic hardwood throughout. A full-extension solid hardwood drawer, located directly beneath the top, glides smoothly on sturdy supports; deep and roomy, the drawer runs nearly the full width of the workcenter and provides ample space for storing your favorite kitchen tools and utensils. When closed, the drawer fits flush with the base. Stainless steel towel rods on both sides of this kitchen cart let you hang dishrags within easy each; they double as handles for moving the cart, which rolls easily on four 3" heavy-duty hard rubber wheels. Two of the wheels lock so you can keep the cart securely in place when positioned. This kitchen cart also features two slatted adjustable shelves. The upper shelf is handy for storing and displaying cookbooks, small appliances, and serving pieces, while the lower shelf can best accommodate larger items, such as small stockpots, wide baskets, and large bowls. From top to bottom, the French Country Work Center is protected and sealed with an FDA-approved food-safe oil finish that is free of animal products.

The French Country Work Center is made in the U.S.A. entirely of fine domestic self-replenishing hardwood. Environmentally-conscious techniques employed in its manufacture waste as little wood as possible. Manufacturing byproducts—chiefly sawdust and shavings—are converted into wood pellets that are burned to heat homes.
