The Gourmet Block Cart features a four-inch thick butcher block cutting surface atop four gently tapered legs. A slatted storage shelf below provides an ideal place to stow frequently used ingredients and kitchen items. At 36 inches high, this butcher block cart is the ideal height for food preparation. With optional locking caster wheels that allow you to easily move the cart to the most convenient location, the Gourmet Block Cart is a perfect all-in-one mobile storage cart and butcher block work surface. Its classic simple design will complement any kitchen décor.

This butcher block cart features a Northern Hard Rock Maple cutting surface with end-grain construction. The end-grain work surface is easy on knives; during cutting or chopping, the end grain wood fibers absorb the impact of the blade, which keeps knives sharper longer. The malleable and forgiving end grain surface is resistant to nicks and gouges, which prevents bacteria from entering the wood, keeps the board looking new longer and increases its longevity. The work surface also features the standard Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax. The Boos block cream penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in, and allows your board to be used as a cutting surface. This finish can be maintained with John Boos Mystery Oil or Boos Board Cream.

If you would like caster wheels with your cart, please be sure to add them to your order when you make your purchase. This item is made to order. When caster wheels are added to an order at the time of purchase the legs are pre-drilled and cut in production to accept the casters. You will not be able to easily obtain or add caster wheels to your cart separately at a later date, so if you think you will want casters with your cart, please use the drop down menu to include them with your order. The dimensions of this item allow for 1/8" tolerance.
